Energy is the ability to do work. It is the property of matter that makes things happen. It comes in different forms, such as heat, light, mechanical, electrical, and nuclear energy. Energy is in everything, and we apply energy even in the mundane tasks that we do everyday such as in cooking, running, etc. Energy may also be renewable, or non-renewable.
